Hi, I'm Lauren, a designer and illustrator based around Los Angeles, CA.
The small things in life never fail to capture my attention. I find beauty in every petal and every wrinkle, absorbing the world in hopes of being able to reflect it in my own work. I have been a lifelong "drawer," starting with a fascination in fashion and character design, and developing a fascination with design through my love of books, both inside and out. My work is informed by my love of color, fashion, nature, mythology, literature, music, theater, and the thrill of creating to share other people's stories and passions by elevating them visually.
I am currently pursuing a BFA in Visual Communication Design at Cal Poly Pomona, due to graduate in May 2025. While at Cal Poly Pomona, I have been eager to explore new mediums such as animation, painting, and ceramics, and continue to seek out new ways to create. I have also worked with the university's student-run newspaper, The Poly Post, for 2 years as a designer, involved in projects such as the annual Bronco Guide magazine, a media kit, and editorial illustrations.
